Ann-Marie, a retired US Naval Officer, serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Administrator. She possesses 16 years’ experience as a Healthcare Administrator (both hospitals and outpatient practice settings), 22 years managerial experience and 30 years of leadership experience.
Beginning her Naval Career as an enlisted apprentice, Ann-Marie enjoyed great mentors who progressively challenged her with greater responsibilities, increasing her competence with each assignment and task. Her career milestones included selection as a Chief Petty Officer and later as a Naval Officer. Her educational accomplishments include earning a Bachelors Administration degree in financial management from the University of North Florida and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration degree from Baylor University.
A Mustang, Ann-Marie’s personal and professional work ethic includes understanding and PERSONALLY doing all aspects of the business (there is NO task she hasn’t done herself!), studying her trade from all angles, and making trust, respect and commitment a priority when engaging with staff and those she serves.
In addition to her success as a retired Naval Officer and an active Healthcare Administrator, Ann-Marie has strong ties in in the community. A true “Service Woman”, Ann-Marie has found a niche to transition her military service to greater community service through board service and personal volunteer activities.
Garfield, also a US Navy Veteran, serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Manager. He possesses 16 years of clinical experience and 12 years of managerial/leadership experience. Garfield is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and has enjoyed working in skilled nursing facilities and performing client home visits for over 14 years. Garfield’s patients are primarily seniors rehabilitating from stroke, orthopedic injury, chronic conditions, routine functional weakness and challenges with balance. While he will not be providing care to clients unless working with a licensed Physical Therapist, Gary’s clinical competence will be instrumental in recognizing potential concerns or needs for care not previously noted.
In addition to his profession, Garfield has personal interest in exercise and nutrition. Garfield’s experience as a seasoned, compassionate clinician and his community interest are invaluable assets for our clients and our ability to meet their needs.
